Hello, My name is Tanya. I started blogging about 2.5 years ago. In this blog you will find posts related to Mental Health, Selfcare and Personal Development.
Growing up mental illness wasn’t something that was spoken about very often. When I was diagnosed in 2016 with BPD I didn’t even know what it was. When people hear you have a “personality disorder” it tends to make them nervous. They may think you’re a flight risk, or dangerous, or just plain nuts!
I want to squash those stigmas and help others like me cope with situations that can be difficult. I also want to show that having mental illness does not make you less of a person, it does not make you less valuable or less worthy of love (including your own).
Selfcare is a rather new concept to me. I’ve already been great at taking care of others needs, not so great with my own.
My goal for this blog moving forward in the future is to show that it is a safe place for people to come together and talk about mental health issues that may be affecting them., including selfcare and personal development.
